Rainbow Ombre Nails

Here's a simple tutorial on how to create some awesome ombre rainbow nails!

You will need Barry M Matt White, Models Own Luis Lemon, Models Own Bubblegum, Models Own HyperGel Blue Glint and a make up sponge.

Firstly paint all your nails with a clear base coat followed by one coat of Barry M Matt White once the clear coat is dry

You will then need to paint Models Own Neon Yellow followed by Models Own Neon Pink onto the sponge in strips making sure to overlap in the middle to create an orange strip.

Then apply this to your index fingernail and your little fingernail by dabbing the sponge onto the nail a couple of times.

Then paint Models Own Neon Pink followed by Models Own Blue onto the sponge in strips again making sure there is an overlap which will be purple. Then apply this to your middle fingernail making sure to dab the sponge a couple of times.

Now apply Models Own Blue followed by Models Own Neon Yellow onto the sponge with an overlap in the middle which will create a green strip. Then apply this to the middle fingernail and the thumbnail. Go over all nails with a clear top coat and you're done!

Lilac Lace Nails

A simple nail art tutorial on how to create lilac lace nails. Enjoy :)

You will need Models Own HyperGel Purple Glare, Barry M Matt White, a dotting tool, nail adhesive, and a roll of lace wrap - mine is from the Rio Ultimate Nail Professional Nail Art Collection.

Firstly paint all of your nails with a clear base coat and once dried apply one coat of Models Own HyperGel Purple Glare.

Then apply a thin coat of nail adhesive to whichever nails you plan to put lace onto and allow to dry until clear but still tacky. Apply the lace with the shiny side facing up and press down all over the nail. Finally peel away the lace and you're done!

I also decided to use a dotting tool to apply Barry M Matt White polka dots onto three of my nails.

St Patrick's Day Nails

As it's St Patrick's Day tomorrow I thought it would be a good idea to post a simple St Patrick's Day Nail Art Tutorial!

I am using a mixture of Barry M and Models Own nail varnishes for this design. From left to right, the polihes I used are Models Own HyperGel Tropical Green, Models Own HyperGel Ebony Green, Models Own Emerald City, Barry M Matt White and Barry M Satsuma

You also may need a nail art brush.

Start by applying a clear base coat onto all of your nails followed by Models Own HyperGel Tropical Green on the two nails shown above, Models Own Ebony Green on the ring finger and Barry M Matt White on the two nails shown above.
Allow to dry

On the thumbnail and middle finger apply even lines of Models Own Ebony Green on the left hand side of the nail and Barry M Satsuma on the right hand side of the nail leaving a strip on white in the middle. Make sure all three lines are the same width.

Then add some of the Models Own Emerald City over the top of the Models Own Ebony Green strip.

Add a bit of sparkle to your nail of choice using Models Own Emerald City and apply a clear top coat to all the nails.

And you're all set for St Patrick's Day!

Hello, and welcome to my very first blog post!

I thought a good place to begin would be by showing you my nail varnish collection. As I said in my about me tab, I currently have a collection of 60 Barry M and Models Own nail varnishes which I have been collecting over the last year and a half.

I also have the Rio Ultimate Nail Professional Nail Art Collection which I use to create my nail designs, nail art wheels that I got off of Amazon so I can practice and glitter pots that I got off of Amazon.
